A home for law and order: AMTRA supplies training building for the Federal Police in Frankfurt a.M.
A container facility was set up on the Frankfurter Berg site for the internal promotion course in order to cover the space requirements of the Frankfurt am Main Airport Federal Police Directorate at short notice.
Border protection, aviation security and railroad police tasks, as well as traditional crime prevention are just some of the many tasks of the Federal Police. The wide range of tasks also requires internal training and further training for officers.
In order to avoid space bottlenecks in this area, AMTRA was commissioned by the Frankfurt am Main Airport Federal Police Directorate to construct a room container facility as a training and office building following a corresponding invitation to tender.
Multifunctional system consisting of 32 containers
The largest of the three classrooms has an area of 210 square meters and can be divided into three areas by flexible plastic folding walls to provide ideal working conditions for small groups.
Roller blinds on the outside of the containers and curtains made of fabric slats on the inside provide optimum privacy and sun protection, while efficient air conditioning split units ensure an ideal climate in the rooms.
High-quality equipment for optimal learning conditions
AMTRA uses the larger space available in the X-tend Line and offers its customers unique opportunities in terms of service and comfort. Thanks to the high-quality thermal insulation and modern air conditioning technology, the offices always have a pleasant temperature. The extra-large, three-paned windows of the X-tend containers provide plenty of daylight in the offices. If necessary, they can be darkened quickly and easily with practical aluminum Venetian blinds. The good insulation – combined with efficient acoustic ceilings – also ensures a pleasant noise level in the offices, even though the system was installed centrally in the huge construction site.
Thanks to their modern equipment and the use of high-quality building materials, the X-tend containers are in no way inferior to solidly constructed buildings and are often the more economical solution for short or medium-term requirements.
Clear pipes thanks to automatic flushing
The building’s sanitary facilities are equipped with an automatic hygiene flush. If the system is not used for a longer period of time, it flushes all pipes regularly with fresh water.
Complete IT cabling from a single source
AMTRA supplies containers for teaching and learning purposes with large-volume cable ducts as standard. In the current project, AMTRA was also responsible for the complete preparation of the IT system, from the cabling of the individual containers to the connection of the server in the technology room and the final test and measurement of the data lines.
AMTRA has its own trained employees, so that these measures could also be implemented with in-house expertise and external specialists.
