AMTRA builds container village from 300 room modules
We installed several mobile buildings as part of long-term maintenance measures on the site of a chemical plant in the Ruhr area. Thanks to good planning and smooth cooperation with our customer, we were able to complete the project ahead of schedule.
Orders from the chemical industry and refinery sectors are among the most challenging projects for us: The diverse safety requirements in the highly sensitive plants demand a great deal of experience and know-how from our site management and fitters. Starting with the delivery by truck on the factory premises to the installation site, through the assembly of the room container buildings to their dismantling and removal after completion of the project.
Quality of the standard modules convinces the customer
This also applied to the construction of a container village at a chemical plant in the Ruhr area, for which AMTRA installed around 300 X-base containers as offices and crew accommodation. Our high demands on the materials used and the versatile application and equipment options of the X-base containers convinced our customer of the advantages of the proven AMTRA standard modules.
The containers were erected into two-storey buildings using a mobile truck-mounted crane, with the upper floor accessible via external staircases.
Services as an important aspect
In addition to the quality of our containers, AMTRA’s high level of service was another important aspect for the award of the contract. Both our site management and our customer service were always available as contact persons for the customer, and our employees responded to questions or special requests as quickly as possible. Short coordination channels and uncomplicated cooperation with our customers contributed significantly to the smooth installation and commissioning of the room containers.
