One of the largest and most modern plants for the production of industrial equipment is currently being built in the Trier\/Wittlich region. The company is relying on the comfortable and versatile X-tend containers from AMTRA to accommodate the site management. <\/p>\n
The construction project is one of the largest investments in the company’s history, with a volume in the multi-digit million range. Both a new production hall complex and a prestigious administration building are being built on the greenfield site. <\/p>\n
To ensure that the realization of this gigantic project runs as smoothly as possible, a room container solution from AMTRA was set up on the site for the construction management.<\/p>\n
Seven offices, a large meeting room, kitchen, server room and sanitary facilities: The modern and comfortable facility offers those responsible for construction the greatest possible comfort for relaxed working on over 260 square meters.<\/p>\n
The special feature: AMTRA uses the enlarged containers of its X-tend Line as the basis for the furnishings, so that the entire construction office could be realized with just 15 containers.<\/p>\n

“AMTRA’s excellent advice and the wide range of options offered by the X-tend container convinced us,” explained the project manager. With a length of six meters and a width of three meters, the containers offer a floor area of 18 square meters and therefore a good 20% more space than the usual standard models. At 2.60 meters, the interior height is also greater than that of ISO-standard containers. <\/p>\n
All of the site management rooms – from the practical kitchen to the large meeting room and the inviting offices to the comfortable sanitary facilities – were realized on the basis of the extra-large X-tend containers. “We appreciate the large amount of space that allows us to set up spacious workstations,” says the site manager. Extra-wide desks provide sufficient space for several monitors and the many technical drawings and construction plans required to implement this mega project. <\/p>\n

AMTRA uses the larger space available in the X-tend Line and offers its customers unique opportunities in terms of service and comfort. Thanks to the high-quality thermal insulation and modern air conditioning technology, the offices always have a pleasant temperature. The extra-large, three-paned windows of the X-tend containers provide plenty of daylight in the offices. If necessary, they can be quickly and easily darkened with practical aluminum Venetian blinds. The good insulation – combined with efficient acoustic ceilings – also ensures a pleasant noise level in the offices, even though the system was installed centrally in the huge construction site. <\/p>\n
Thanks to their modern equipment and the use of high-quality building materials, the X-tend containers are in no way inferior to solidly constructed buildings and are often the more economical solution for short or medium-term requirements.<\/p>\n
